Welcome Home to Abounding Grace!

We now have our own new building! (Well it's new to us anyway.) We have been without our own place of worship since January 2008 and we were even holding service in a library meeting room. However now we have finished with the paperwork and put up our sign we have moved into this beautiful building! To God Be all the Glory! Now we need to pay for it! Pray for us!

The New Home of Abounding Grace Assembly of God

Abounding Grace is a church that was first opened in March of 2001. We may be young and small in size, yet the strength and power of the Holy Spirit is with us therefore no weapon made by man can prosper against us! As we grow in size we shall publish photographs and news that is going on here at Abounding Grace!

But...

Read 2 Kings 15:1 through 17:41

The word “but” indicates that things may not be as they initially appear—something under the surface is different.

God expects our complete devotion and worship. The ancients of Israel and Judah worshiped God, but not in the wholehearted way God demands. They rearranged and perverted the way they worshiped God.

They worshiped the Lord, but they also served their own gods in accordance with the customs of the nations from which they had been brought (2 Kings 17:33).

Pagan gods and practices probably don’t keep us from worshiping God wholeheartedly. However, we may multitask our way into God’s presence, dragging with us all the other stuff that clutters our lives. We worship God, but often as an add-on to our busy schedules. We get distracted by other issues—tasks and decisions that often require juggling multiple things—and we view that as a virtue. But God wants our undivided attention when we worship Him.

Prayer Suggestion: Lord, I want to praise You completely with all my heart.
